Coffee tasting with Imperfect Produce

What does produce have to do with coffee? Come find out! On Saturday, October 27 join Brewpoint Coffee and Imperfect Produce for a morning with Brewpoint's Head Coffee Roaster, Ben Tanen. Ben will be highlighting coffee consisting of produce notes with tasting stations at Brewpoint's Roastery & Workshop.

The Imperfect Produce team will be onsite to pair delicious fruit with Brewpoint's coffee, discuss fighting food waste in Chicago and offer guests a special discount code for 50% off the first box to join the Imperfect family.

Each station will feature a pour over coffee and produce pairing that showcases the uniqueness of how the roasting process effects the tasting profile. During the event, Ben will walk through the tasting profiles of each blend. Guests will taste and learn about Brewpoint's Stargazer, an earthy dark chocolate blend; Acrobat Espresso, a nutty, toffee and lemon citrus blend; Naranjo Costa Rica, an orange stone fruit blend; and more.

This is a ticketed event, please refer to Eventbrite link for information on ticket pricing

**Additional beverages and food will be available for purchase. Brewpoint will be offering $3 off retail coffee bags.**

Get Involved! Panel Discussion #TheVoiceofAWomanisaRevolution

The third weekend of Brewpoint's Empowered Women, Empower Women campaign is #TheVoiceofaWomanisaRevolution. In this, we are giving a space for women to find their voice and an outlet to use it. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. We are doing this because the power of representation is an important one. Seeing other women run for elected office/be active in local government and hearing their stories is a great way to get inspired because you realize they are just like you and me. Come to this event to hear from and meet different women who are getting involved and making their voices heard.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the public.

Panelists:

Margaret Harrel (Elmhurst 205)

Zahra Suratwala (Dupage County)

Katie Marsico (League of Women Voters)

Ashley Selmon (Dupage County)

Linda Davenport (Circuit Court)

Kara Caforio (Elmhurst 205)

Dannee Polomsky (Alderman/Pending)

Moderator: Jan Dorner

SPECIAL: When you register to vote at Brewpoint you will get a free coffee or tea on us!
